Pangramme : learning type design

Pangramme: learning type design

May 13 – July 22

The exhibition, designed and produced by Atelier Design Graphique & Typographie of École Supérieure d'Art of Lorraine, offers an overview on contemporary typography produced by students. After an open call for participation, a jury of five professionals shortlisted 50 projects. The presented typefaces were created during the past three years, under the direction of lecturers of art schools and universities. The typofaces have never been published. Due to its pedagogical guidelines, the international dimension and the diversity of the approaches, this exhibition offers diverse creations and visualizes the learning process in typographic creation.

Curator : Jérôme Knebusch

Jury of the open call for proposals: Andrea Tinnes (D), Alejandro Lo Celso (Ar), Matthieu Cortat (Fr), Hans-Jürg Hunziker (CH) & Gerard Unger (NL).
