Albert Guillaume's works are well represented in the Gustave Dutailly collection with not less than sixty items (posters, press illustrations, menus, programs, entrance tickets, etc). He was not so much acknowledged for an original design but for his clever ideas. In this poster the narration can be considered as ordinary, yet a gigantic bottle fills the foreground. Even if the theme is common in posters for alcoholic beverages, there is something like a double-statement. The characters play a secondary role and seem to enhance the bottle. They gain an importance so that the spectators can identify themselves.
