Marine Benz studied for five years at the École régionale des beaux-arts de Rennes before beginning her career as a freelance graphic designer. For three years she worked with colleagues active in the cultural and artistic scene, including Fanette Mellier, Pierre di Sciullo and the Teschner-Sturacci studio. She became the art director at Usbek & Rica in 2018, revamping the visual identity adopted by the brand and its magazine, and then moved on to become the AD for the bimonthly magazine Socialter and its various satellite publications. Since 2022 she has also been the AD of the Futura Sciences review.
