Join us for a playful exploration of French expressions! Created by Delphine Mistler as part of the PRÉAC 2024 programme, this interactive workshop for children aged 6 to 12 is a visual celebration of some of the most iconic expressions in the French language.

Participants start with a printed card displaying an expression paired with a simple geometric shape. Using stickers, they can complete the expression either by representing it symbolically or through a literal, pictorial interpretation—or both!

Since idiomatic expressions often differ across languages to convey the same concept, this workshop also offers a unique opportunity to adapt and expand the tool as a fun and creative resource for language learning.
