Blending traditional jazz with electronic, soul, and funk influences, NuJazz will take center stage during a concert evening featuring the duo Aujon from Haute-Marne, on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 7 p.m. at Le Signe.

Formed in 2022, Aujon is a NuJazz duo composed of Arnaud Rollat (piano, Rhodes) and Rémy Verroust (drums). The group’s name is inspired by the Aujon River, which winds through the valley of the same name and flows at the foot of their adopted village—an ideal backdrop for their music, which seamlessly blends the artists’ diverse influences (Alfa Mist, Youssef Dayes, GoGo Penguin, Anne Pacéo…).

The subtle touch of the piano intertwined with the rich colors of the Rhodes, carried by dense and energetic rhythmic patterns, gives Aujon their unique sound. Their compositions, built on elegant and captivating themes, offer music that is both intricate and accessible.
