Take part in a unique workshop at the Centre national du graphisme in Chaumont, led by the studio kollygujer and based on research done in April 2026 together with Janice Beck.

About the workshop

Title: GraphicDesign.zip

This summer school workshop is all about compressing, rescaling and assembling. It starts with the tiniest of all graphic mediums, the postal stamp. From there on the workshop goes into experimenting, analyzing and exploring the possibilities this small graphic matter gives. The workshop is centered around the process of constantly opening up, generating new output and then reducing it again. This leads to slowly settling into aspects that have been discovered and deepening them. The process results in one of the biggest graphic mediums: the poster. 

This workshop was designed by studio kollygujer in collaboration with Janice Beck.

About kollygujer

kollygujer was founded in 2020 by Svenja Kolly and Mia Gujer. The two met at the Aargau School of Design (SfGA) and studied visual communication with a focus on graphic design at the Lucerne University of Art and Design (HSLU DFK), which they finished in 2023 and 2024. Since 2023, they have been co-organizing the Weltformat Graphic Design Festival Lucerne, and in 2025 they took over the festival lead together with Michèle Raez. From November 2024 to March 2025, they were on a self-organized research trip to Paris and Tokyo.

In their work, they practice conceptual and investigative design. The studio is part of an interdisciplinary space in Zurich. Their clients can be found in the field of design, politics, education and sports. Besides commissioned work, they pursue their curiosity with self-initiated projects.

Their work has been exhibited in several countries in Europe and Asia. They won a

European Design Award, Tokyo TDC and 100 best posters D/A/CH.
