Vytynanka et l’arbre de vie

As part of its evening workshop programme for adults, Le Signe welcomes Ilona Shchaslyva to introduce participants to the art of vytynanka. Based on the intricate cutting of paper motifs, this craft stems from an ancient Ukrainian tradition. The Tree of Life is a recurring symbol in both traditional and contemporary Ukrainian folk art. Through the practice of vytynanka, this workshop invites you to reinterpret and reimagine this powerful symbol.
