Experiments, sketches, prototypes and graphic compositions under construction: this exhibition reveals the manufacturing stages for a poster before it is printed. The examples unveiled in this exhibition are extremely rare, unique even and reveal the poster printing practices in lithographic workshops (scaling, colour

testing, letter spacing, handwritten notes from the printer, etc.). From the Dutailly collection in Chaumont, these documents provide a twofold perspective of images: see the posters and read the mock-ups.
