Les Petits Spécimens 4

Les Petits Spécimens is the annual meeting of le Signe with its young audience, schools, families and all those who are curious, to discover graphics in a playful way. This participative exhibition literally invites you to enter inside the books!

Le Signe is opening its 4th edition of the Les Petits Spécimens, with the exhibition by Éditions du Livre: “Mon tout est un livre”. This independent publishing house publishes children's books by graphic designers.

Their publishings deal with the relation as an established form between an object of consultation and its reader.

Alexandre Chaize, the founder of Éditions du Livre and curator of the exhibition, speaks about what he calls "the poetics inherent to the manipulation of the book as an object resonating with its content. The shape of the book is its substance." On this occasion, Le Signe will offer a journey punctuated with activities and events for the young, leading them through the universe of these books transformed in participative installations.
