Session de workshops

The workshops for the 5th International Graphic Design Biennial will be held in Chaumont from 19 to 23 May 2025, with the results exhibited in the Tisza Textil warehouse from 24 May. Aimed at students and young professionals, the workshops are an opportunity to discover a graphic design specialization alongside recognised professionals in their field.

The workshops

This year, workshoppers can choose from 4 workshops:

- It’s time to legalize sampling, with Gilbert Schneider

- The Design is (also) the Message, with Studio Nüssli& Nuessli with 

 - Les Larmoyantes, with Roxane Maillet

- Snares as Squares, with Studio K&E with Louis Donnot

For this 4th edition of the Biennial-Workshops organised by Le Signe, Gauthier Plaetevoet will once again be managing the printing of the projects in the Signe workshop.

The workshops will be held in English.

Registration procedures

A maximum of 5 students from any one school will be admitted to each workshop.

The number of places per workshop is limited to 12, or 15 ( depending on the workshop).

The registration fee of 300.00€ (reduced to 250.00€ if you have taken part in the Biennale 2025 student competition) includes:

- Workshop teaching fees and materials

- Accommodation in a multiple room in a budget hotel from Sunday 18 to Sunday 25 May, with breakfast.

- Shuttle service between the hotel and the city centre (Le Signe and the workshop venue).

Participants are in charge of their own lunches and dinners.

You will be asked to rank the four proposals in order of preference. We cannot guarantee your first choice, but will do our best to accommodate your preferences.

The closing date for these registrations is Tuesday 22 April, 2022.

We will confirm your group by 28 April and your entry must be validated by payment by cheque or bank transfer to the account of Le Signe, centre national du graphisme, by 9 May 2025.
