Lumigraphe

The lumigraphe is a set of notched wheels that are engraved and cut out of transparent  and coloured plexiglas. Somewhere between a puzzle and a gear system, these elements permit thousands of combinations with which the audience can experiment superposing, rotating and lighting.  This system invites you to explore images in movement and in colour, where shapes and patterns mingle. The composition comes to life using an overhead projector, thus introducing kinetic art. The projections can be filmed and projected again.
