This exhibition, presented at le Signe starting March 4, 2026, is part of the Ukraine Season in France. This initiative is led by the Institut Français and the Ukrainian Institute, with the support of the French and Ukrainian Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Culture. Through this major nationwide event, France and Ukraine unite to amplify the voice of a resilient and creative Ukrainian society.
An Illustrated Journey through Ukraine invites you to explore a major exhibition presented in three acts:
A selection of the finest Ukrainian books curated by the prestigious Book Arsenal Festival.
A window into Ukrainian graphic design from the 1990s to the present day, drawn from the City of Chaumont’s poster collection.
A vibrant showcase dedicated to contemporary Ukrainian illustrators, presented in partnership with the Kyiv-based Pictoric collective.
"In our illustrations, we want to highlight not only the war and its impact on daily life, but also its repercussions on culture, ecology, education, and human rights," emphasize the members of the Pictoric collective.
